The "downtime" after a peel depends on the type of peel Dr. Sergay and you choose together. Some superficial peels are considered "lunchtime" peels and you can immediately return to daily activities without reservation. Some deeper peels require up to 7 days for recovery. There are intermediate peels as well with minimal recovery time. Recovery time and expected results are reviewed with each patient prior to a peel. In addition, Dr. Sergay will establish a routine before and after your chemical peel to optimize and maintain your results.
